Wild Thyme Outdoors: Forest School and Woodland Skills is a new and exciting initiative set in the Essex county countryside.

Founder/Director – Chief Instructor

James has more than a decade of experience working in outdoor education. After a short military career he naturally progressed into working in the Outdoor Industry. A large adventure centre in the south-east offered James the foundation to grow and develop his unique style of instruction. James moved from the outdoor centre to working for a military charity placing ex-forces personnel with groups of young people who where  struggling with integration in a mainstream school environment. Soon after working in some definitively challenging environments James decided to branch out on his own to offer his vision of truly special wilderness/outdoor adventures to the wider public.

It is James’ passion for working with people and his love of the outdoors that gave birth to the concept of Wild Thyme Outdoors. James fervently believes in the bulletproof nature of this business as a profitable company and valuable community resource. The huge positive impact that it will have on all those that come into contact with Wild Thyme Outdoors only serves to strengthen this belief.
